2005 honda civic ex automatic invoice

I'm thinking about buying a BMW Service Manual for our 1999 318ti, is it difficult to follow?

My husband and I are pretty handy with cars (i.e. we can perform oil changes easily). It's really expensive to get the car maintained in BMW shops and since we have basic vehicle knowledge it could become a project for us. Anybody work on their own car

i'm not so sure about my manual, but it says it can also be for 316i, which i have. mine's an E36 actually. not that hard to follow, but i do get annoyed by the time they always say"Contact your nearest BMW dealer" when we can do it ourselv
