How do I convert 240Volt to 12 Volt?

Hi there, at work I am always cold despite everyone else saying they are hot, so rather than change the heating controls just for me I decided to buy a heated car seat cover for my chair, which will do just the trick if I can find a way to convert it

Buy a new one designed for use with mains imo - safest and prolly cheapest.

I just threw my old one out. Heats and massages... but i wore it out. :p
