How hard is it to replace an exhaust manifold gasket on a 1996 Ford Explorer? How much should I charge?

4.6 liter?
I won't touch that job for less that 2 hundred (That is both sides) because that engine is a bear to do a lot of things on. It is difficult to get to half the engine because it is practically under the dash board.

digghelp I have a 92 Explorer. A few days ago I noticed the engine was running hotter than normal, but not over heating. I took it to the mechanic today and they told me it would need a new head gasket to the tune of $1600. I paid $600 for the Explorer 3 months ago off Craigslist.
