How much would it cost to fix a 1982 porsche 928 engine?

Or what is the average price for a new/used one? links please?

EBay has one for $2200.
They are not expensive or hard to rebuild.
If you have the time and interest, I would suggest rebuilding what you have.
Typical rebuild price is probably about $4000.
But the part would only cost you $500
