Yellow fluid on spark plug?
I have an 03 Ford Expedition 5.4L with the check engine light on. Engine is cutting off during idle. Diagnostics told me that cylinder 4 was misfiring. After i removed the spark plug, it had some kind of yellow fluid all over it and the coil wire. I replaced
Is this yellow liquid on the plug and coil wire exterior? , I assume you mean on the outside of engine.This liquid is probably engine coolant, it could cause an unwanted ground and cause the missfire, if the coolant is on the internal plug electrode,
