Are some songs by The Barenaked Ladies autobiographical?
By "autobiographical," I mean do they pertain to the personal lives of the writer or the band. For example, Box Set, In The Car, Jane, etc. etc. You get the idea. Even if it's loosely based, would be interesting to know. Thanks!
Yes, some of the relationship songs like Enid are based on their lives and experiences. I read something about that in a really old interview. Box set isn't about them as they were pretty young when they wrote it and it wouldn't really apply.
